Project Detail
This project is currently posted as a temporary preview. A fuller case study with more detailed context and behind the scenes notes will be uploaded later.
"Rush of Memories" is an interactive VR experience built around immersive storytelling. It is inspired by the widely known idea of a “life review,” often described as “your life flashing before your eyes” right after death. While this phenomenon is not scientifically confirmed, it appears across many cultures as a shared concept and narrative.
In this experience, the user revisits a person’s past through the metaphor of an elevator. Each floor opens a different moment in life, moving back and forth between childhood and old age. As the ride continues, the emotional tone shifts from early innocence to the weight of lived reality. When the elevator finally returns to the present, the experience aims to leave the user with a quiet, bittersweet reflection on who they are now, and what time has shaped in them.
My Role
I led the project as the director and scenario writer, and I also handled the 3D art, VR interaction design, and Unity C# implementation. This project was created by a two person team, including me.
